A romantic, intimate soiree at the Ritz Carlton - St. Louis

An intimate dinner party is what Sierra & Shawn were after from the start. Well at least from the start of their planning process. Like many girls, Sierra had dreamed of a big wedding since she was a little girl but her thoughts and plans changed following the impact that Covid made on her sister's wedding. The family was forced to scale back on that celebration and while they were originally disappointed that it wasn't exactly as they had originally envisioned, they came out on the other side incredibly grateful as the restrictions in place actually allowed for an evening of intimacy and connection that they wouldn't have experienced otherwise. After that, Sierra was certain she, too, wanted an intimate affair and intentionally set out to make that happen. With a guest list of just 30 people, every element chosen for the evening of celebration was curated with pure intention to ensure a magical evening for all. Their ceremony was incredibly personal and honored Shawn's children that Sierra & her family eagerly & graciously accepted as their own. Cocktail hour kicked off with the couple toasting their honored guests for joining them in celebration before breaking out to the entertainment stations set among the space to honor the couple's love of board games. A multi course dinner, set among abundant candle light, was chosen to ensure ample quality time was spent while breaking bread together. The evening was pure and full of connection, just as Sierra & Shawn had intended it to be.
