When the ridiculously talented Elizabeth of Elizabeth Lloyd Photography asks if you’d be willing to curate a shoot for a photography workshop she is hosting at Wild Carrot (in the middle of wedding season), you (figure out a way to make it work and) immediately say yes. Especially when she says, “I have a few ideas for inspiration, but do whatever you want. I trust you.”
I wanted to incorporate a bold color palette as I knew it would lend itself perfectly not only to the space, but to her photography style. Also, I just needed some color in my life. At the time, we had a number of couples designing with neutrals, and they were lovely and stunning and great, but I just needed to rock some color. Immediately, I had visions of incorporating bold hues of mustard, chartreuse, coral and peach and called up some of our favorite industry friends to help build on the vision and bring it to life. We couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. And seriously, how darling are our models? Does our sweet “bride” look familiar, because the lovely Lyndsay of Cake House Design was able to wrangle in her hunky boyfriend to act the part for us and we are so in love with them.
A huuuuuge thank you to our kickass vendors who helped put this all together!
