KELSEY & SCOTT
Boho vibes with hipster flare at the family farm

When we think of Scott and Kelsey, we remember one of the most authentic (and yes...on trend) wedding celebrations we've ever created. These two are simply pure joy. From the start, they made it clear they wanted to be a bit unconventional (they are both creatives) and per usual, we were thrilled. Scott is charismatic and full of energy; Kelsey is a bit more calm. Together, they have a way of welcoming everyone to make them feel like a long time friend, so it was instant comfort from the startβcomplete with just enough bantering and sarcasm to keep you on your toes (you know, our FAVORITE type of people!).
The merriment was going to be hosted on Scottβs grandfatherβs property complete with gorgeous fields and rolling hills that made the perfect backdrop for the pair to say βI do.β The main celebration would be under a tent (man, we love a tent wedding!) which meant we got to be wildly creative as the full design was built from the ground up. From the tables and chairs to linens and lounges, we got to choose each piece intentionally and create a space that made everyone go, βoh my gosh, this is SO them!β
The boho vibe with hipster flare featured a color palette of desert hues and muted tones that was showcased throughout. From the gorgeous dresses the gals wore to the hand-picked furniture that created the loungesβboth under the tent and under the starsβto the floral arrangements featuring a combination of dried and fresh blooms, it was truly a dream come true to create.
The week of the wedding, storms were predicted for the wedding day; we made adjustments to our install schedule and were prepared to possibly launch plan B (and/or C...we always have multiple backup plans) on the big day. However, by some miracle, as we moved through the morning of the wedding, the 70% chance of rain reduced to 40% and then to 20% and eventually we watched the storm clouds avoid us entirely while we finished up the final touches of the design. The pair walked down an aisle of overlapping rugs they envisioned from the start and toasted with their friends and family in a lounge set under cafe lights.
It was a beautiful day from start to finish, and we are SO thrilled Scott and Kelsey chose us to plan their day. Congratulations again, you two!
