There are love stories couples tell you that make your heart explode inside of your chest. How they met. How they knew the other was The One. How everything in life kind of came together to get them together … almost as if fate really connected them. And fate? It definitely played a part in Paris + Joe’s love story.
Want to weep? Well, they met and dated in high school only to rekindle their romance years later while Joe was in the Marines and Paris was in nursing school. They communicated via love letters over the years (which they each saved and Joe read during his vows!!). For the engagement, they took a trip to Germany (Paris has always loved Germany) and Joe proposed on the bridge outside her favorite castle. And even better? He then surprised her with her mom and sisters that he arranged to have there to celebrate. HE IS SO ROMANTIC!!!!
The entire day was full of laughter, tears, smiles, hand holding, joy and, above all, love. Yes, we’re corny! We were truly, truly honored to be part of their day and won’t ever forget it.
