Alli & Colin | 4.6.13
April 6, 2013 was a BEAUTIFUL day for a wedding. The sun was shining brightly, almost as if it were smiling down on Alli & Colin. The two of them couldn't have been more darling and they truly deserved the gorgeous day with which they were graced.
Alli had a vision of how she wanted her day to be - a combination of clean, modern design with sentimental, vintage elements. Her wedding colors were apple green, mustard yellow, white, and plum; however, she explained she doesn't even like the color purple....she just couldn't find any other shade for her bridesmaid dresses that she liked. So, plum it was!
To incorporate her color scheme into her reception, we opted for white table linens & mustard napkins complemented by green & white floral arrangements. For her wedding favors, Alli tapped into her culinary background and created jars of homemade vanilla sugar - delish! Bringing in some vintage & rustic touches was a dream come true. From creating a floating wall of window panes displaying the seating assignments to the family wedding photos spanning back two generations decorating the guestbook table, her wedding had a personalized flair. In addition, custom decor was created to highlight her theme - distressed wood block table numbers, mustard tulle pom poms that hung above the head table, gift tags strung on twine around the favors, and a gold glittered "LOVE" banner.
Being part of Alli & Colin's celebration truly was an honor. They say you can judge someone by the company they keep, and it was clear that this group was a fun bunch!

Missouri.com Vintage Styled Shoot
Back in April, I partnered with some fabulous local St. Louis vendors for Missouri.com. We were selected to showcase our talents in creating the vintage style that continues to gain popularity among current brides. I had such a great time collaborating with these women at the Lemp Mansion - not only are they hilarious and a joy to work with, their talents continually WOW me! I am amazed with the results and have been dying to share them!

My TV debut
This morning I headed over to the Fox 2 studio to do a little promo for my business and the Off White Wedding Show happening this weekend. I had so much fun goofing around with Tim Ezell and the others at the studio - they kept reassuring me saying, "You are going to be just fine," but never having been on camera before, much less LIVE, I found myself suffering from sweaty-palm-oritis.
With a few deep breaths, I was able to calm my nerves and before I knew it we were live. If you want to check out my segment, click here.
I'm so grateful for the opportunity and owe the world to Brea McAnally, founder of Brea Photography and the Off White Wedding Show for setting this up. Not only is she a wonderful business person, she is an amazing human being!
Now back to putting the finishing touches on all my decor ideas for the show. Can't wait to meet all the brides this weekend! If you or someone you know are planning a wedding, you can get your tickets here or at the door the day of the show.
