Jeff + Lea had one of the most lovely, personalized celebrations we've ever shared in. Lea is quite the designer and took charge of all paper goods for the celebration....and she NAILED it. Every single detail was carefully thought and considered to provide a personal touch paying homage to their relationship. The watercolor invites were designed to set the vibe for their wedding day - colorful, yet simple. They wanted their friends and family to enjoy the celebration to the fullest while providing a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere to do so. Third Degree Glass Factory was the perfect space for the party; the sleek, industrial setting accented with vibrant works of art provided the ideal backdrop. Lea's designs continued to add personality to the affair. Guests found their tables, each sponsored by one of the couples favorite movies (Jeff is a film editor). The "guest book" was an untraditional take on the classic; instead it was a canvas that played homage to how their love story started...and this is the best part.

Jeff & Lea were both born and raised in the St. Louis area, but they didn't meet here. Instead, they stumbled upon each other on a flight back to Chicago, the new place they called home. They hit it off, Lea gave Jeff her number and they planned to meet up again soon. But, Jeff never called. He was a bit shy and nervous and never mustered up the confidence to give her a call. Fortunately, fate didn't seem to care. Months later, Jeff & Lea bumped into each other again on a return flight from St. Louis to Chicago. She called him out on not phoning her. He promised not to make the mistake again. And the rest is history.
